Saturday 4 August 2018 - Evangelist Terry Eckersley and team come to do some serious outreach at Withfest2018. Visit our stall in the craft arear. The Authentic crew run the tea and coffee tent on the camping field. Terry and team take over the Sunday service on 5th August.

Saturday 13 May 2017 - Our first Withernsea Worship, outdoor worship with John Gaughan and Tim Jarvis on the big stage in Valley Gardens. Next month Rob Parker joins Tim on stage.

Sunday 9 October 2016 - Gateway church outgrows the ground floor of the Meridian Centre. We have now moved upstairs for all our Sundays services because we just got to big for the downstairs rooms. This is now the second time Gateway's Sunday service has outgrown its room after we moved from the Shores Centre in September 2015.

Saturday 3 September 2016 - "Volney Morgan and New Ye" superb London base Gospel Choir visit Withernsea to sing in Valley Gardens at 2:30pm. All welcome - no charge.

Friday 18 March 2016 - The archbishop of York Dr John Sentamu visits the Gateway shop

As part of the Archbishop of York's Pilgrimage of Prayer John Sentamu visited the Gateway shop at 104 Queen Street, Withernsea HU19 2HB. Gateway's leaders Tim Jarvis and Dave Bartle prayed the Lord's prayer together with the archbishop and other church leaders.

Palm Sunday 20 March 2016 - The archbishop lead an ecumenical open-air service in Withernsea's Valley Gardens blessing and encouraging Withernsea and it's people. All of Withernsea's Christian churches were present.
